Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat and Prepare
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  • Step 3: Combine Wet Ingredients
  • In another bowl, whisk the eggs, crushed pineapple (with juice), vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and sour cream until well combined.
  • Step 4: Mix the Batter
  • Gradually fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  • Step 5: Bake the Cake
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
