  • Step 1: Prepare the Chicken Patty Mixture

  • Step 2: Shape the Chicken Patties
  • 1️⃣ Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties about ½ inch thick.
  • 2️⃣ Place the patties on a plate and let them rest for 10 minutes (this helps them hold their shape while cooking).
  • Step 3: Cook the Chicken Patties

  • 1️⃣ Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (375-400°F / 190-205°C) and lightly oil the grates.
  • 2️⃣ Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes per side, flipping once, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • 3️⃣ In the last 1-2 minutes of cooking, add cheese slices on top and cover the grill to melt the cheese.
  • 🔹 Skillet Method (Best for Juicy Patties):
  • 1️⃣ Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • 2️⃣ Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • 3️⃣ Add cheese slices in the last 1-2 minutes and cover the skillet to help the cheese melt.
  • 🔹 Baking Method (Healthier Option):
  • 1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • 2️⃣ Place the patties on a greased baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • 3️⃣ Broil for an extra 2 minutes at the end for a crispy texture.
  • Step 4: Assemble the Chicken Burgers
  • 1️⃣ Toast the burger buns in a dry skillet or on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  • 2️⃣ Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, or mustard on the bottom half of each bun.
  • 3️⃣ Place the chicken patty on top, followed by lettuce, tomato slices, red onion, and any extra toppings.
