Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie or boiled)
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup (or use all chicken soup)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • 1 box 6 oz stuffing mix (such as Stove Top)
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • ½ cup diced celery optional
  • ½ cup diced onion optional
  • ✅ For Garnish Optional:
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese for a cheesy variation

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat the Oven
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  • Step 2: Prepare the Chicken Mixture
  • In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined. Spread this mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  • Step 3: Make the Stuffing Topping
  • In a medium saucepan, heat the chicken broth until warm. Remove from heat and stir in the stuffing mix, melted butter, diced celery, and onion (if using). Let it sit for 5 minutes until the stuffing absorbs the liquid. Fluff with a fork.
