  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Dough (Skip if Using Store-Bought Dough)
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  • Add flour, olive oil, and salt. Mix until the dough forms.

  • Roll out the dough into a 12-inch (30 cm) circle on parchment paper.
  • Step 3: Add the Toppings
  • Spread pizza sauce evenly over the crust, leaving a small border.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  • Add cooked and crumbled bacon (or sausage).

  • Make 3-4 small wells in the cheese and carefully crack an egg into each well.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Transfer the pizza (with parchment paper) to the preheated pizza stone/baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until egg whites are set but yolks are slightly runny.
  • Step 5: Garnish & Serve
  • Remove from oven and let rest for 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions.
  • Slice and serve warm. Enjoy!
