Equipment

  • ✔ Microwave-safe mug (at least 10 oz capacity)
  • ✔ Fork or spoon (for mixing)
  • ✔ Microwave
  • ✔ Measuring spoons
  • ✔ Small bowl (optional, for crushing Oreos separately)

Ingredients

  • Basic 2-Ingredient Version:
  • 4-5 Oreo cookies
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • Enhanced Version For Extra Flavor & Texture:
  • 4-5 Oreo cookies
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder for a fluffier cake
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract optional, for extra flavor
  • 1 teaspoon sugar optional, if you want it sweeter
  • Optional Toppings:
  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate syrup
  • Crushed Oreos
  • Ice cream vanilla or cookies & cream

Instructions

  • Step 1: Crush the Oreos
  • Place 4-5 Oreo cookies in a microwave-safe mug.
  • Use a fork or spoon to crush them into fine crumbs.
  • Step 2: Add Milk & Mix
  • Pour 3 tablespoons of milk into the mug.
  • Stir well until it forms a smooth batter.
  • If using baking powder, vanilla extract, or sugar, mix them in now.
  • Step 3: Microwave the Cake
  • Microwave on high for 1 to 1½ minutes (depending on microwave power).
  • The cake should rise and be set but still soft in the center.
  • If needed, microwave for 10-15 more seconds.
  • Step 4: Let It Cool & Add Toppings
  • Let the cake sit for 1 minute before eating (it will be very hot!).
  • Top with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, or extra crushed Oreos.
  • Enjoy your Oreo Mug Cake straight from the mug!

Notes

✔ Adjusting Texture: More milk = softer, fudgier cake. Less milk = firmer texture.
✔ No Baking Powder? The cake will still work but will be denser.
✔ Make It Vegan: Use dairy-free milk (almond, oat, or soy).
✔ Stronger Oreo Flavor: Add an extra crushed Oreo on top after cooking.
✔ Storage: Best enjoyed immediately—does not store well.
